Fengui lemon essential oil (Citrus limon) offers a fresh, effervescent citrus aroma that awakens the senses and evokes a feeling of cleanliness and vitality. Its energizing fragrance is ideal for enlivening the atmosphere and lifting spirits, creating a refreshing and stimulating environment.

Properties:

This oil is part of a range of synergies designed to disinfect the air, as it possesses a powerful antiseptic effect. It is also used as a natural aid for digestive issues such as nausea, and is an ingredient in treatments for oily hair and dandruff.

It has a powerful toning, nerve-balancing, and fatigue-reducing effect, promoting positive moods and combating feelings of heaviness. It can even be used in cases of cellulite or heavy legs, as well as for eco-friendly household cleaning and oral hygiene.

Instructions for use:

To fully benefit from its properties, it is recommended to use lemon essential oil in the following ways: applied to the skin, always diluted in a carrier oil, using gentle massage to treat specific areas or support the skin's natural function. It can also be used for dry inhalation, by adding a few drops to a porous surface such as lava rock, or through atmospheric diffusion to purify and scent the air. Oral use should be reserved exclusively for protocols formulated by a physician or aromatherapist.

Composition:

The chemical composition of this essential oil is certified by Fengui: it contains between 60% and 68% limonene, plus 8–12% γ-terpinene, 10–16% β-pinene, and traces of β-bisabolene (0.45–0.90%). This monoterpene profile is responsible for its characteristic aroma, its antiseptic, toning, and revitalizing properties, as well as its refreshing and purifying effect.

Precautions:

Like all citrus fruits, this oil is photosensitizing, so after applying it to the skin, direct sunlight should be avoided for at least 6–8 hours. It is contraindicated during the first trimester of pregnancy and in children under 3 years of age, except under medical supervision. It should not be applied to mucous membranes or eyes, and its use should be discussed with a healthcare professional in cases of medical conditions, medication use, or in the presence of sensitive animals.
