Thyme Essential Oil It comes from the organically grown Thymus zygis L. plant. Recognized for its numerous benefits, this essential oil is used in both herbal medicine and aromatherapy, providing stimulating, toning, and balancing properties. Its intense and distinctive aroma makes it ideal for therapeutic use, as well as for small culinary applications for those seeking to enhance the flavor and natural properties of their dishes.
Properties:
Thyme essential oil is a powerful general stimulant, both physical and mental. It promotes capillary circulation, acts as a nerve tonic and aphrodisiac, and has mild appetite-stimulating and hypertensive effects. It is an excellent antiseptic, stomachic, balsamic, and expectorant, with intestinal and urinary antiseptic, diuretic, sudorific, emmenagogue, carminative, and vermifuge properties. Externally, it is notable as an antiseptic, antiputrefactive, healing, counterirritant, antirheumatic, and parasiticide, useful in treating dermatoses, boils, wounds, leukorrhea, rheumatism, hair loss, lice, and other skin problems. Its main chemotype, thymol, is responsible for much of its antimicrobial and tonic activity.

Take 1 drop diluted in juice, herbal tea, or honey, up to three times a day, preferably under the supervision of a healthcare professional if combined with other therapies. It can also be applied topically or aromatically following expert guidance.
